The Stowaway Carbon Elite II Travel Rod is the only interchangeable rod system on the market allowing anglers to mix and match pieces to create four different rods in one travel tube. Each 3-piece rod comes with 5 interchangeable sections—one handle, two mid-sections, and two tip-sections.
Whether you're dropping 1/8oz artificials in front of tailing redfish or throwing live bait along a jetty in uncharted waters, you'll always have the right setup on hand. Each section is labeled with a different action or power so you can easily change your rod configuration to match the fishing conditions.
The rod packs beautifully into a cloth roll-up pouch, tucks neatly into a carbon fiber travel tube, and fits in the overhead bin.
From spontaneous weekend trips to bucket-list destinations, this rod is made for anglers in constant pursuit of their next great adventure.

I purchased this M/MH rod for a trip to Lac Seul in hopes of it being able to land a variety of fish and handle a variety of lures. It did everything I wanted and more. It had the sensitivity to feel the lightest walleye bite and the backbone to land my largest musky of the trip at 47". This rod got put the test for 6 straight days of fishing up north and never skipped a beat. I can say this rod is worth every penny.

Wow, thank you for sharing such a great review! Catching everything from walleye to a 47 inch musky is quite the test, and we’re so glad the Stowaway delivered. Those photos are awesome too! 🎣
The 7'2MH handled this huge black drum easily. I was extremely impressed with the rod and even though I felt severely undergunned w a 3000 reel, the rod performed amazingly. I also love how it comes with a seperate tip and mid section. Would recommend to anyone.

Wow, what a catch! 🎣 We’re thrilled to hear the 7'2MH rod handled that big black drum so well. Thanks for sharing the awesome photo and for the recommendation!
Great travel rod-reel combo. I got 7'2'' M / MH and paired it with the 3000 series reel.. Fished with it for a week off the beach in the Florida panhandle and caught some nice speckled trout and black drum with it. This rod is going in my bag whenever I travel.
I really love these rods. The 7'4" medium light XFast is my go to rod for inshore species. A definite multitasking rod which is also my favorite finesse rod for smallmouth bass as well.
These rods are well made and put together for the fisherman in mind. I use mine for both fresh and saltwater fishing. It's a comfortable work horse that looks great too.
Took my new Toadfish travel rod to Costa Rica to fish with a remote, local guide. Paired it with a 2500 series reel with 15lb braid. Tossing paddle tail around structure. First catch was a nice jack crevalle. Switched to some cut bait on a bottom rig and landed this cubera snapper. The rod performed flawlessly in both casting and bottom fishing. We kept a few of the fish, but gave them to the guide so he could feed his family. Otherwise, we put 'em back.
I cannot say enough good things about the Toadfish inshore rods. The quality of the product is well worth the price, and I find it out fishes rods that cost 4 times as much.
Absolutely love my Toadfish rods!! Tough, durable, and able to turn the bigger sheep’s away from the structure! 20/10 recommend these rods for any insure species!
Great rod, Great customer service and fast delivery. Love the sensitivity of the rod. Changed from using St Croix rods to Toadfish. Couldn’t be happier
Most definitely love the Rods! LipperArmy Approved!! They are One of my favorite rods for sure! I own the 7'6 the 7'2 and two of the 6'8 toad fish rods that are all Fast tips and are just all my go too's. I fish for stripers, blackfish, lake trout, walleyes, musky, crappies and 2 other hand fulls of species on these rods all year round and I love them! Thanks for a great product toadfish
I received a Christmas gift of the travel combo kit 7'2" option. On the weekend of New Year's, I did a stupid thing and shut the Medium Tip in my car door window. I contacted customer support and told them I was stupid, didn't want a free replacement, and would gladly pay for a new tip. They charged me only for shipping, and by the end of the week, I had a replacement. I went out the following weekend and landed 4 Bluefish and a 20" False Albacore from the beach (bucket list). The fight with the Bobo was fun, but I never felt I lost control of him. Love the combination and look forward to many years of catching monsters from the beach on light tackle. Great to see a company stand behind their product, even when it was clearly my fault for the tip breaking. Will be purchasing more from them for sure!
Very very fast shipping. I have my commercial pilots license and fly a little private plane. The travel case is very light weight and easy to store. I just took it to the bahamas and had a great time catching snapper and the occasional shark (for a second) . The rod feels very light and strong. The 7.2 was the perfect size
I bought the Toadfish travel spinning rod for trips to Florida but took it to Canada and it was fantastic. Sorry you can’t see the rod very well but you get the idea.
Love this new version of the stow away rod. The black carbon fiber case is a great improvement over the older aluminum case. I can not wait to put it to use soon. Also got the travel stuff rod and can't wait to use that also.
I love the 7'4" ML for finesse baits, I had to get 1 more before they were out of stock forever. The Generation 2 rods look very nice. I will definitely try one in the near future.
The toadfish 7'4" ML spinning rod has become my favorite tool for finesse fishing. I cannot praise it enough. People I take out praise it for it's light weight, power and the comfortable grip provided by ergonomic reel seat design. Several of my die hard cork handle only friends actually admit they like how it feels when casting and reeling.
I was curious to try the Convict rod so I bought a couple. I figured if it was designed to fish sheephead around the pilings there might be an application for snook in the mangroves. I took it out and it proved to be a good tool for turning fish into open water. At 5'11" it may appear fragile, but this rod has serious backbone, and hook setting power. I cannot wait to try it on sheephead and tags. Gret job toadfish.
Took a guided trip to the mangroves around Clearwater FL. I brought along the 7'2" MH spinning rod (2 piece) and it performed outstanding. I could not ask for a better combination of power, accuracy and durability in a travel rod. We ended the day with 20 nice redfish and 6 nice snook. I love my toadfish rods. I think my guide was impressed with the rods performance and will become a future customer.
This rod exceeded all ecxpectations. I was more than please with the performance. 2 20 inch Red Snapper were caught on this rod unexpectedly. I was sure the rod wasn’t going to handle the catch but I was wrong. These poles are the real deal.
Maiden voyage with the Toadfish rod, skipping a TexEye jig + Minnowz under shaded brush...thought I had a bucketmouth for sure. Fooled by a kitty again! Rod didn't flinch and held its own against this cat digging to the bottom. Great first day with it, and thank you Toadfish!
Strong backbone but great action to get long distance on casts. Caught a 15 lb redfish in the first hour of using the new rod so it’s also a good luck charm!
I had purchased some rods and reels from Toadfish previously but some of the tips had broken. When I told Toadfish my experience and acknowledged my rods were now out of warranty.
Toadfish said that shouldn’t have happened and agreed to replace the rods. They went above and beyond and replaced the rods.
