This is fabulous! Add ice to the top— alone or over lettuce — or to the bottom — it does not matter and save a spot for sauce and lemons and add your cold food item — this becomes ice cold like your own personal refrigerator. I love it for shrimp cocktail or anything you would prefer to eat leisurely and ice cold! Use it many times a week! A new staple for everyone’s kitchen.
I have bought this bought for multiple people as a housewarming gift with the cracker set. Everyone has loved it!

I rarely write reviews. Usually it’s only if something is really bad or exceptional. This thing is truly exceptional! It’s hard to get excited about a dish or tray but this is so well made. Heavy gauge metal and nicely finished. We used it the other night for shrimp cocktail and the ice lasted for hours (usually it melts into a soup in less than an hour) and what did melt drained down below. So I simple but it worked great. Finally, we have been furnishing a new kitchen and buying a lot of this stuff. The price for this is a bargain. If we purchased this from some of the other places we bought things I’m sure it would twice the price. So buy one of these before Toadfish figures that out and raises prices!

Works great, perfect size, use it all the time
A nice item for any seafood lover. You can use it for cold dishes (oysters, shrimp, and so on). Or go crazy and make a chilled seafood platter, called 'plateau de fruits de mer' in French! It also works with warm dishes as well. But, I like it for cold treats.
Great product. We use them in the restaurant and they are perfect for serving all types of iced fresh seafood.
Gave this to a family member for her birthday, it is very much so coming to good use living on the ACE Basin!

If you love oysters. Then this bowl is perfect for you. I love that the ice melts into the under tray. We have harvested our own oysters this season and can't wait to serve them on your bowl/tray. Good Job. Ordered two and for sure will be ordering a couple of more.
