This thing is a beast. Probably heavier than I need for Tog fishing in New England but I put an 8-pounder in the boat the other day that wrapped up around a rock and this thing let me relocate that rock in 20 ft of water, so I guess it's not too heavy. Looking forward to putting it to use on some bigger stripers and tuna!
Soon as I use it in March
Went to nj for slot size stripers, fished w decayed benni Parker magnum spoon 3oz. 1st time putting rod thru paces with 5000 combo real. Rod loaded great for flutter spoon or a47 diamond jig w green tails. Had the sensitivity to feel flutter spoon action and detect bite, enough backbone to put fish in boat quickly. Kept for dinner. The rod washed up from salt easy (few ever address clean up of the rod and guides. I'll definitely add another one to my charter collection. Besides great price point, value, and execution of product. I watched this company stand on it's word to clean the water. I have modeled our youth program, OPWWEE: BmoreWet!(https://linktr.ee/Omolmentoring) giving back to youth, community, and environment after this great company. Look forward to more great innovative products.

Great rods! Been using the 7’2”MH for off shore fluke and jetty fishing for tog and the 6’6”H for deep water tog and fluke when I need to pitch heavier sinkers. Very strong and capable rods. They also look badass

Decided to try one of these to toss big swimbaits to pike. It works very well for that purpose. This is my fourth Toadfish rod (2 inshore spinning and 1 inshore casting) and I'm absolutely in love with it. The grip is super comfortable, the guides are top notch and it's just a great looking/feeling rod.
