Baller offshore setup with the 5k reel. Not much I have to worry about with 300 yards of 30 lb braid. Stoked!

I tried it out at Oceanside Pier and it felt great. I was pleasantly surprised how well the braid performed. I will be taking it out tomorrow to Fiesta Island, San Diego for some shore fishing. I already want to buy another combo.

I used the new 2500 reel this past weekend and caught speckled trout, flounder and redfish. The reel cast great and worked flawlessly. It’s a great combo and makes fun pulling in the fish. Sorry about the photo, it’s the only one I took.
When you’re coastal fishing for specks and redfish you never know what may take your bait. The elite 2500C handled this massive black drum better than expected. From my experience the people at Toadfish stand behind their product without a question.

Well Started Out Good But after a couple trips and some fish The reel started to squeak and hard to Reel . Only used about 10 times .. Spoke to the warranty Department and they want me to send it back to get Repaired instead of Just Giving me a new one . But Got some Nice fish to the boat !!
I already have an elite 3000 reel and rod combo and loved it, but I wanted something a little heavier to catch large catfish with my brother at Lake Sinclair. I caught 2 large catfish in 1 afternoon, the largest weighing about 10lb, both on my new elite 4000.
So this is my second TF reel, loved the first one some much I bought another setup. At 7oz I think it is super light and there are lil rubber pieces for between your fingers that is a GAME changer! Smooth casting and I can throw it a mile!!
My old friend and I went fishing Tuesday the last day of February 2023 with the Toad-fish 7’4” Spinning rod I had given him and the combo spinning rod and 3000 spinning reel I replaced it with and we had a great time limiting out on Speckled trout. He loved the Rod and I loved my replacement combo!1

This reel replaced the original which had a defect. It works great so far. Need to get a bigger fish on it next time I'm where it lives!
I do a lot of inshore fishing for both salt and freshwater species. The 2000 series is very lightweight yet has a great drag and holds plenty of 10# and under braid line. I combined it with a 7’6” medium weight XF tip and absolutely love it. I already had one and purchased another one. Am trying to buy a 3rd but they’re out of stock. Absolutely great price as well.
