This was a gift for my father’s birthday. I have seen toadfish’s gear for a couple of years but hadn’t quite had the funds to finally get one. I am fortunately in a better position and could not have thought of a better person to have one than my father! He was thrilled! I can’t wait to get out on the water with him soon as we reside in Indiana and the weather hasn’t quite turned for us yet. I look forward to purchasing another combo soon because for the short time I was able to see the rod and reel it was the nicest/lightest I had ever felt. Love the ergonomic grip between the fingers in the reel. The revival series reminds me of my first real fishing rod and I’ve got my eyes peeled on that! Appreciate the inshore bundle as well!

Just got back from my fishing trip in the Everglades...Toadfish rod and reel set up was a hit! I had purchased the 2000 series and the 4000..we slayed the fish..redfish,snook and black drum...the vodo quiver baits was the ticket to lots of strikes.
Reel is super smooth with a very smooth drag.
Toadfish always comes thru, and is constantly offering new quality products. I have most of the grilling and kitchen products, seven of their rods (including one travel rod), and my most recent purchase was for a fourth Toadfish reels. The products are awesome. (I had to replace the tips on two rods because I broke a few inches off in the car door. You can't fix "stupid", and that's not on Toadfish.) I love the products. G
