Last week, Toadfish founder and CEO, Casey, Davidson, was asked to give a presentation to a group of kindergarten students about oysters.

As he stood in front of the excited group of young students, Casey explained the incredible ability of oysters to filter water. He told them that oysters are natural water purifiers, capable of cleaning up to 50 gallons of water per day.

Casey showed the students oysters and their unique shells, and explained how they use their gills to filter out impurities and pollutants from the water. He also shared some fun facts about oysters, like how they can create vast oyster reefs and become habitats for many marine species.

The students were fascinated by Casey's presentation and asked him a flurry of questions. They wanted to know everything from how oysters are caught to how they taste. Casey did his best to answer all of their questions and was grateful for the opportunity to share his love of marine biology with the next generation.

After the presentation was over, the students thanked Casey and asked if they could come back to learn more about the amazing creatures that live in our oceans. Watch full presentation above!
