Hey ya’ll! My name is Ian Schurman and I am a Tugboat captain, YouTube creator, and avid outdoorsman. If you were ever wondering about where the name “Tug Trash Outdoors” came from, it's in reference to my work on tugboats where I tow barges around the Caribbean.

I currently live in St. Augustine Beach, Florida, but I grew up in beautiful Jupiter, FL.

What you will find in my videos is catch, clean, and cook content for the everyday outdoorsman. I enjoy sharing recipes, tips, and tricks that can help the average person learn to catch and cook their own food. Plus, as a bonus, the channel follows my outdoor adventures and highlights some amazing people I meet along the way.

The Crab Claw Cutter, Put 'Em Back Oyster Knife, and Seafood Forks have all been essential uses in the kitchen!
WHY ARE YOU ON TEAM TOADFISH?
I recently became partners with Toadfish, and I have to say, I love their products! We do a lot of shellfish harvesting and the tools that you can get from Toadfish really help with the process. Not only are their products superior, but their conservation efforts are admirable.
